Several years ago, I took a working vacation with my family to a cabin the Smoky Mountains. While we were there, I had scheduled several personal project shoots. Since we were on a creek, one of the ideas was to put model, Bethany Mieloch in a matching outfit with my daughter and do “River Faeries.”  As it turns out, it rained like cats and dogs the first night and into the middle of the second day. The little creek topped its banks and became quite the flood. That’s when it struck me that we could do a mother nature’s wrath themed shoot, and my daughter was totally game.  As the waters calmed and the flood began to go down, we took to the banks, covered her in mud and got creative.

I recently pulled the originals from this set and reworked them. Enjoy.
